Cancellation / Credit Policies / Chip Return

THERE ARE NO CASH REFUNDS! / NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

Entry Fee - Event Credit:

If you wish to withdraw from an event you may receive an event credit to a future USA Productions LLC Event. You must notify us in writing or email. Please email info@usaproductions.org  or fax (925) 462-6532 of your intent to withdraw and meet one of the following scenarios.

1) If for any reason, you notify USA Productions LLC Events more than 30 days prior to the start of an event weekend of your withdrawal you will receive a 50% credit towards a future USA Productions, LLC Event. This credit only covers the race entry fee. USA Productions Insurance one day passes, processing fees and online registration fees will not be included with your credit.

OR

2) If you have a medical reason, you will need to provide a signed doctors letter advising us that you are not able to compete. This letter must be received by USA Productions LLC Events 14 days prior to the event weekend in order for you to receive your 50% race event credit. This credit only covers the race entry fee. USA Insurance - one day passes, processing fees and online registration fees will not be included in your credit.

Extenuating Circumstances:

If you have an injury or a member of your immediate family has a death or a medical emergency and it is within 14 days of the scheduled event yet greater than 72 hours prior to the event, you will need to notify us in writing or email. The race director will consider each request on a case by case basis for future USA Productions LLC event credit.

Entry fees or event participation is not transferable to another person as this is considered fraud by USA Productions LLC. If you sell or give your race slot away, both you and the person using the race slot are subject to a 2 year suspension from racing at any USA Productions LLC Event(s).

**Returned checks or declined credit cards will incur a $40 processing fee**

DEFINITIONS:

Event Weekend:

This is the day that on-site packet pick-up begins at the event. Normally, this is at least one day prior to the first race of the weekend. All written cancellation notifications to USA Productions LLC are based on this packet pick-up date.

CREDIT:

All event credits are good for any of the races owned by USA Productions LLC (Morgan Hill Sprint Triathlon, Silicon Valley International Triathlon, Silicon Valley SprintTriathlon, Catfish Crawl South Bay & East Bay, Folsom Olympic Distance Triathlon). If you have a credit, it does not guarantee your entry into a race. You must still register prior to the event being sold out as all registrations are on a first come first served basis. These credits expire one year from issuing event (ex. credit for MHST 2009 may be used up to and including MHST 2010).

Return of chip policy:

The Athlete is also 100% responsible for the return of the chip, our waiver will have a disclaimer that must be signed that states you the athlete must return the chip or be billed accordingly by our timing company. It is the racers responsibility to make sure if you cannot attend the race that the chip will be returned within 7- business days to USA Productions, LLC, if the timing chip is not returned the participant will be charged $30.
